Topic: PS3 super slim and BD remote, does it work?

I have an Ps3 super slim 500gb, and i just ordered a official sony ps3 bd remote and i just noticed that its not on the Compatible Systems list on sonys website, is there just a mistake on the sony site (not upgraded info) or does it really not work on my ps3?

This is purely speculation, but my best guess is that they didn't update the page when the newer ps3's came out.

i thought so to, i kinda need to remote cuz i hate using a ps3 controller for BD DVD.

loving my ps3 so far.

I don't mind using the controller. The only thing I hate (and can't understand) is why the controls are different when you're playing a DVD vs a bluray. So weird.

ok i got new info that it works, everything exept the dick edject is working

heh He said dick lol A little off topic but can an official Ps3 bluetooth mic link up to the Vita? The controller works well enough for watching movies so Ive not bought one of these remotes. I suppose itd be good for a movie buff. At least we dont have to buy and add-on for movie playback a la the original Xbox

Just FYI your Sony TV/AV remote controls your PS as well only discovered that beginning this year
