Hello,
I am new here, just found my old PS3 40GB and would like to see if I can play some old games on it. I haven't yet hooked it up. Mainly I would like to know if I can download some PS2 games from the store for digital play. I know that it doesn't have backwards compatibility for PS2, but would like to know if that is for digital download as well.

Looking forward to playing some Final Fantasy, or Devil May Cry on it. To my knowledge, the Playstation Store is still running.

Will take a look in meantime.
Thanks

Even if you don't have a model that is compatible with PS2 disc games, you can still download and play those PS2 titles available digitally though the PSN Store.
