Topic: PS Plus monthly games question

So, we have a PS4. We have 3 main accounts on it that are used. They were as follows:

Account A = adult family manager
Account B = child account (purchases managed by account A)
Account C = parent/guardian

Account C had a PS Plus membership on it for the past 2 years. We used it for online gaming as well as shared all the monthly free games. The PS Plus subscription just ran out.

My son (account B) plays fortnite a lot. Since the PS Plus needs to be renewed, he wants to put it on his account (account B, child account) since he says he would get extra stuff with the PS Plus attached to his ID.

Can I put a PS Plus account on a child sub-account? If so, will we then lose access to all the games we accumulated while having the PS Plus under Account C?

OK, I didn't think of the child "restrictions" & good point. I think I will just go ahead and get the PS Plus subscription on the same account C as before in order to avoid any potential hassles. This way we will easily have all the previous games & not worry about losing them. Getting a simple Fortnite PS Plus prize doesn't seem worth it

@mcf57 sounds like you’ve come to a conclusion but yeah, if I’m not mistaken, you’d lose all access to any previous PS Plus library games you’ve accumulated over the last two years unless C renews. The account that claimed the games has got to be active in order to have continued access to it.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
