Topic: Transferring save data from PS4 to PS5 and then back to PS4

Hello, I just had a quick question about save data transfer and was hoping you guys could help! I'm currently playing Bloodborne on my PS4 (and absolutely loving it). However, I'm going to my brother's house for the next couple of weeks. My brother has a PS5, and I would like to be able to play Bloodborne whilst I am there. Then, once I come back to my home, I'd like to be able to continue playing the game at my house. If I bought PS Plus for one month and used the cloud save, would this be possible? So then I could upload my current save onto the cloud, go to my brother's house and continue playing my save there on the cloud, then come back to my house, redownload the new save back to my PS4, and continue where I left off.

This seems to make sense to me, but I've never tried anything like this before, and once I go to my brother's house I can't easily come back here, so I'd like to know if this would work! If not, are there any other options? Thanks!

I don't see why not (but never have done this myslef, to be clear). They're saves for the same version of the same PS4 game.

Note: technically you should also be able to do this with a USB drive, no PS Plus.

Thank you! I'll give it a go and hope for the best!

@BranJ0 Yes you can absolutely do this, as this is what I do when I go to my parents for the weekend. Although it is going from my ps5 to my dad's ps4 and back again, but will work the same way.

@JohnnyShoulder Thank you very much! Just tried it this morning and it works a treat, so I'm very happy!

@BranJ0 No problem at all! Technology is wonderful when it works!
