@bucsfan I believe disc game update files can download and install while the PS4 is in rest mode. I’ve had plenty of games do that. What I don’t know is why some games will automatically download the update files when the Ps4 is left in rest mode and some game will not and have to be manually prompted to do so. It may have something to do with when the game was last played

@Th3solution Yeah you are unable to install games from disk in rest mode, the console needs to access the data from the disk so it needs to be powered on. Some games this could literally take seconds, other games can take about 30 mins.
@bucsfan Any future update files should download automatically, as the data is online. Just follow the below link and steps found therein to ensure you have the correct options selected.
