Is this normal ? I dont have it in rest mode.

I wouldn't have thought any electrical device should be warm to touch when turned off, assuming it's had time to cool down after use

@MatthewJP Does you PS5 feel warm when plugged in right on the back of the PSU direclty above the disc slot when layed down on top

@SydneyAngel I've not used it since last night, and the whole console is cold/room temp as I'd expect

I did half to replace the PSU because we had a back thunderstorm. I dont know if the one i bought is different then the stock one

@SydneyAngel its a million% not normal. turned off means no power to it. so nothing to heat up. its faulty

@RogerRoger I got a response from the ebay user selling these PSUs. He said that is normal.
My console was over the warranty plus i dont think Sony will touch it unless the seal is not broken

@SydneyAngel the seller will say that, so you dont return.

if its hot 30mins after power off, its faulty.
