So the reason I need to use the component cables is because I'm trying to record with HD PVR Rocket and the ps3 isn't viewable through HDMI when using the pvr rocket.
I've used 2 different component cables and tried them both on 3 different tv's, every time I get this weird Rainbow gradient effect coming off of the edges of everything that gets displayed.
I have pictures that better demonstrate this, not sure where to put them though.

it's minor and faint, and you can really see it more on the letterings, but it's there enought that it bugs the hell out of me, was hoping there would be some way to fix this that wouldn't involve replacing my ps3.
