Topic: Problem with playing PS4 and PS5 at the same time

Hi Guys

I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on a PS5 and I’ve done what all good and decent dads should do and hand my PS4 down to my son.

I was under the impression that I would be able to play them both together on the account but that isn’t the case, when he’s playing his game, it kicks me out and visa versa.

I have tried activating the PS4 as the primary but it hasn’t solved the problem, any ideas how I can sort this without setting up a new account or paying for an additional ps plus subscription?

Many thanks

As far as i am aware you can only have one account active on one console at any one time..so you would have to set up a seperate account..

Kick out the jams!

Your son needs his own account. If the console he is using has your account as its primary console he’ll still be able to play your games and he will also be able to play multiplayer with you.
