Topic: Loading screen is in Syntex with 'Msg_' before it.

Hi guys, my PS4 recently just got the BLOD. Very annoying since it's only 18months old. I've re-initilised it from safemode from which it works again.The system is much slower, and every load screen now has what it would normally say, except in Syntex with a added 'msg_' at the beginning.
For example a load screen with 'Wait' on it would say, msg_wait. Or 'Preparing to turn of ps4' would say 'msg_preparing_to_turn_off_ps4'.

It's very unusual and is probably because I re-initilised the system. But has anyone else had an issue like this after re-initialising. If anyone has any feedback it would be appreciated. Feel free to ask more questions.

I’ve just recently had the same problem occur. My PS4 turned off by itself, when I turned it back on it’s been displaying the same faulty messages and generally ran slowly. Did you ever get a fix or any ideas? Rebuilding database did nothing

Unfortunately I just started having the same issue! I had a power outage while playing on my psf slim (model cuh-2215b). It started with the safety mode loop which then resulted in the BLOD. I had to initialize and update my playstation anywhere from everyday to every 3 days. Now I'm no longer getting the safety mode loop, however, I'm getting the BLOD and if I initialize the console then it freezes when I'm trying to set it up again! Honestly I think it might be the HDD that needs replacement considering that playstation supplies their consoles with really cheap ones!
