Hi guys,

Downloaded hitman 3, can see you can play previous games too. Downloaded Hitman 1 as it was cheap, Hitman 2 rather expensive. Can I buy a disc version and have this register on the hitman 3 game or do I need to download it to make it work?

Cheers in advance!

@Iwanttoaskaquestion Yes. If you install a disc-based copy of Hitman 2 on the same console as your digital copy of Hitman III (or play it using your PSN profile on a different console) then the latter should recognise that you own the former and unlock the relevant purchase option in its store as "free".

However, I would strongly advise waiting, as on January 26 the previous games' content (minus any DLC) will be incorporated in all copies of Hitman III free of charge.

If you can find a physical Deluxe Edition copy of Hitman 2 then there might be some benefit in buying it, as then you won't have to pay thirty bucks to access its substantial DLC content (two full levels and two Sniper Assassin maps) but otherwise, I wouldn't rush to make any purchases until you've seen the state of Hitman III at the end of the month, because it's all about to change.

Top man roger! Delighted you told me that before I splurged out!!! I accidentally bought the hitman 2 dlc thinking it was hitman 2 few weeks ago but only realised today when I had completed 1 so hopefully it will all be good!

Thanks again mate

@Iwanttoaskaquestion Happy to help! Sounds like your copy should be a-okay, then. Hitman III should just update itself and become Hitman: World of Assassination and, at that point, you should have access to everywhere. Emphasis on "should" but I'm sure it'll all work!
