HotHead Games has confirmed an August 31st PlayStation Network release for The Baconing -- the third adventure in the DeathSpank series
The title will, of course, launch as part of Sony's PSN Play programme, and is available for pre-order now. Those that pre-order through the PSN Play initiative will receive a bonus DLC character, "a 70's era inspired police woman with a nasty attitude" named Roesha.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to net a 20% discount. There's a new trailer for the The Baconing after the jump.
