
No fighter is ever going to keep pace with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ outrageous DLC schedule, but 2XKO is at least going to give it a go.
A new roadmap for the League of Legends-inspired fighter reveals that six characters will be added to the title this year, which is pretty impressive considering the game’s dev team was reduced following its console launch in January.
Caitlyn was added alongside the console release, while Akali was deployed in a new patch this week, alongside various balance tweaks and local duos support.
Senna will follow at some point later this year, with three other Champions on the horizon. The studio had previously committed to five characters in 2026, but it’s tacked on one extra character for good measure.

The dev’s also plotting tons of other features, of course, like a new stage, skins, and summer event. It’ll also feature at various Evo events throughout the year, including Evo Japan early next month.
So it doesn’t sound like Riot is anywhere close to pulling the plug on this title just yet, and it’s going to give it some support to help it organically grow. What else do you think it needs to help find its audience?
