Developer Thunder Lotus has announced its latest game — a stylish action adventure called At Fate's End.
Coming to PS5 in 2026, this gorgeous game casts you as a young girl as she does battle with her family members.
While the combat looks fluid and fun, what's interesting is that the skills you use are also tied directly to family.
There are hints throughout the trailer that suggest the combat will be closely tied to the narrative; we imagine this will be all about unpacking issues with the protagonist's siblings and parents.

The studio previously made the wonderful Spiritfarer, so we have confidence this will be a good one when it arrives next year.

I wonder if I’ll be an absolute emotional wreck blabbering throughout the entirety of this game too. Spiritfarer is an absolute frickin ORDEAL.
I played Spiritfarer when it was on Extra last year and it was the most moving game I’ve ever played. When it left the service I had to buy it so I’d always have it and as a thank you to the developers.
I’ll be looking forward to seeing what they do next.I only hope the combat isn’t too difficult for me to get to experience the story. My reaction time is getting ridiculously slow as I age.
