Legacy of Kain: Defiance seems to be preparing a PS Plus Premium launch in the near future, meaning all the games in the series will be playable on PS5, PS4 via the recent remaster collection and Classic releases.
Word of the potential rerelease comes from Taiwan, where an age rating for the PS2 title has appeared, listing PS5 and PS4 versions. In most instances of PS Plus Premium leaks, this has meant the launch is somewhat imminent.
We actually already know a handful of upcoming PS Plus Premium additions thanks to the recent State of Play show from Sony. Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 are coming in July, and then the original PS1 versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will finally become available later in the summer, presumably for the August update.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance allowed you to play as both Kain and Raziel in the same game for the first time. "Given we were revealing crucial things about our characters’ motivations and the world that shaped them, it was critical for us to make Kain and Raziel dual protagonists, and to cut back and forth between their playable chapters," said Amy Hennig on the remastered release last year.

That's really cool and all. But still not enough imo.
THATS pretty awesome but like mentioned before, too little too late.
I would preffer a full-on remaster like we got for SR1 and SR2. It makes a great difference. I hope they at least put subtitles in this game. I'm playing al games of the franchise, currently in SR2. Blood Omen 2 comes next for me. At least we have some assurance that Defiance will be there too.
Please trophy support for original re2 and 3, ie invisible enemy mode knife only etc, kill nemesis first encounter both knife

That’s nice and all but shouldn’t Aspyr be doing remasters of Blood omen 1&2 and Defiance.
They did remasters for all six of the classic TR games

I don't get the too-little too-late mentality of critics. There are a huge classics library and it will be taken from and added to organically.
People are not even playing the games, I think. I know I am not too interested in the older games as their age truly shows and I have premium mostly for trials and streaming from my portal. That and the upgrade from Extra was so little that it was like 8 dollars more for 12 months!
Was hoping for the full Saber Interactive treatment but I'll take what I can get F**K YEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!! The entire series will now playable on current console 😭😭😭😭😭😭
