Dynasty Warriors: Origins Patch 1.005 Adds a Fantastic Photo Mode, New Armour

It's been a few months since Dynasty Warriors: Origins restored our faith in Koei Tecmo's hack and slash franchise, but it's still nice to see the game getting a fresh update.

Patch 1.005 is just a few hundred MB in terms of download size, but it adds a couple of cool extras.

First up, there's now a fully fledged photo mode to play around with. Given how good Origins can look — especially in the heat of climactic battle — this is bound to produce some stunning pics.

To use photo mode, you simply pause the game and press the touch pad. From there, you can make all kinds of edits based on camera direction, zoom, colour correction, and filters.

On top of that, the update also gives you access to a new outfit for the protagonist, which is based on Zhao Yun's iconic Lion Dragon armour set. You can switch to it via the outfit menu when you're at a base of operations.
