RoboCop Rogue City Sales

Recently released story-driven shooter RoboCop: Rogue City isn't just a powerful nostalgia trip β€” it's actually a commercial success, too. Publisher Nacon has announced that the adaptation is its "best ever launch", and although we haven't been given concrete sales numbers, the game racked up 435,000 players in its first two weeks on the market. Not bad at all.

"RoboCop: Rogue City has exceeded our expectations," says Nacon CEO Alain Falc. "We are really proud to have been able to work with the studio Teyon on this game created by and for RoboCop die-hards. We would also like to thank MGM for the trust they placed in us throughout this collaboration, as well as all the players who have contributed to making this release such a great success."

Rogue City got off to a somewhat rocky start in terms of critic reviews, but it quickly found a surprisingly dedicated audience. The title has a clear appreciation for the source material and does its best to evoke the same atmosphere you'll find in the old movies. It's nice to see a heartfelt project do well for itself, especially during such a busy release schedule.
