Bilkins' Folly is an upcoming puzzle adventure in which you play as marooned treasure hunter Percival "Percy" Bilkins and his best friend Drayton, one of the better good boys in any game, we are willing to bet. It has been announced for release on PS5 and PS4 in late 2023.
Drayton is able to level up as the bond between him and Percy grows, allowing this old dog to learn some new tricks that will help solve puzzles and unearth the hidden treasure. It helps that Bilkin's Folly looks gorgeous from stem to stern, with a gorgeous pixel art aesthetic and lively animations, to boot.

This looks amazing! Day 1 buy, instantly the game I'm looking forward to most this year.
Contrary to what you say, I think the art style is bland and uninteresting and the animations annoying as hell. Games like Indivisible and Spiritfarer do it much better.
It’s not all about looks though, the game looks like it could be good.

Looks good. I like the wafty way he waves his arms as he walks (a lot of 'w's there), but probably not for me.

This looks fun. Like A Boy And His Dog by Harlan Ellison, but hopefully the ending is less... filling.
