Sony's output this year has been pretty stellar, releasing four major games on PS5 and PS4 (and that's to say nothing of its many PC ports). The earliest arrival of these was Horizon Forbidden West, kicking 2022 off strong back in February. Of the many things we like about Aloy's sophomore journey, one of its strongest assets is its wonderful art direction. Now, you can dive deep into the game's visuals in The Art of Horizon Forbidden West.
Published by Dark Horse Books, this coffee table tome compiles 200 pages worth of concept art and developer commentary. It offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the work that goes into creating interesting characters and environments, and Forbidden West certainly isn't short of those.
The book will be available in two editions: standard and deluxe. Both are hardback, with the deluxe version featuring metallic-edged pages and a special slipcase. These are available for pre-order now, and launching on 25th April 2023.

Ooo I definitely want to pick this up for the collection. I love the art direction in the game.
50€ for the standard edition? Ouch...
Yep, those price are ridiculous. Plus the artwork on cover for standard edition screams 'buy the limited edition'.
