Many of you may not have to wait to play Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5 and PS4, as copies in the United States have started to ship – a week before the game’s intended 4th March release date. Our review of the simulation racer is still under embargo, but there are multiple reports of players already receiving their physical pre-orders.
If you purchased digitally, you can pre-load the game, but it won’t be available to play until the aforementioned launch date. Many of those who ordered on Amazon, however, already have the game in their hands – and even more are reporting that their copies have shipped and are currently in transit.
Fortunately, this isn’t a game steeped in story, so it’s not like leaks are going to affect your enjoyment too much. It’s a weird one for us, though: we’ve been playing the racer for several days already, but we can’t actually share any of our impressions or opinions until mid-next week. It’s not unusual for major titles to leak early, of course – but rarely does it happen on this kind of scale.
