Square Enix has slapped a release date of 18th March 2022 on Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin as part of its TGS 2021 showcase. The collaboration with Nioh developer Team Ninja has also issued a brand new trailer to coincide with the announcement, and it does its best to avoid saying the word "chaos". Instead of that, we get to meet "Garland. My name's Jack Garland."

If you want to play the game right now, though, a new demo is now available on the PS Store. It'll stick around until 11th October 2021, with a survey accompanying the playable teaser so you can share your feedback. The full game can also be pre-ordered now at a price of £59.99/$59.99, or you could opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition and gain three days of early access along with the season pass for £84.99/$89.99.
