Mysterious indie title JETT: The Far Shore has been confirmed to be launching for both PlayStation 5 and PS4 on 5th October 2021. From developer Superbrothers, the release date was confirmed during the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase and will be available on the PS Store for $29.99. A 20 per cent discount will be available at launch for a limited time. A new trailer accompanied the announcement, which you can view above.
The game tasks Mei with finding a new home for her people, who are haunted by oblivion. "Take the helm of a 'jett' and explore a vast unknown - skim low over waves, roar up pristine coastlines and carve through otherworldly woods. Adapt to an intricate, systemic open world and persevere through adversity alongside an intimate ensemble in this story of courage, wonder and regret."

As part of a PlayStation Blog post, Patrick McAllister said: "JETT began long long ago, even before Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, when Craig D. Adams at Superbrothers A/V and I met. We hope our project resonates with you, and if it does, please consider embarking with us!”

May well not be, but October 5th sounds a lot like a PS+ launch game date.
@AK4tywill You'll be able to pre-order it on the PS Store and there's going to be a PS Plus discount, so that's not happening.
@LiamCroft Ahh of-course. Wishful thinking on my part, I've been looking too forward to this game.
I am so looking forward to this, assuming it's (at least in part) the chilled out lo-fi 'No Man's Sky like' it seems to be. Colour me intrigued.
@Marquez NMS seriously needs a sandbox/creative mode with infinite resources so that one could just play to their heart content. The game has enough content now that it doesn't need to worry if they remove the need to grind for resources there wouldn't be much else to do.
@TheDudeElDuderino That’s an amazing idea, completely agree. My son loves the game but resource grind is what keeps him away.
