About four years ago, it was announced that Neko Atsume, a popular Japanese game about collecting and playing with feline friends, would be getting a PlayStation VR version. While this did materialise in 2018, it was only released in its homeland of Japan, with no sign of a Western launch for cat lovers across the sea. However, as discovered by Gematsu, the game is now available in North America.
Yes, Neko Atsume VR has released today on PS Store for the US and Canada. Playable on a regular display or with a PSVR headset, the game is a sandbox experience in which you collect and then interact with a number of cute kitty cats. You can feed and play with these virtual pets until your heart is filled with fluffy joy.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't appear to be available in Europe just yet. However, given the North American launch, hopefully a release in this region isn't too far behind. At any rate, the game is available for $16.99. Will you be playing Neko Atsume VR on PS4? Curl up in the comments section below.

Well that’s gone directly to my cart. The power of cute compels me!
Ahhhh, so this is the cat bumhole photography game my friend was obsessed with a few years back.
@lolwhatno it’s an old reference.
@lolwhatno Nothing to be sorry about. I doubt anyone knew what the hell I was talking about. Haha. Just looked like jibberish.
This might be right up my street as I have bit of a cat collecting fetish.
