Do you miss the experience of visiting an exhibition hall for a big gaming event? The hours-long queues, the tacky merchanidse, the body odour — it's all part of it, and we can't help but feel a little nostalgic for the days of necking Mountain Dew samples because we're too polite to decline the poor sales rep. If you've been yearning to return to the hallowed halls of free pin badges and overpriced burgers, Dreams has your back.
DreamsCom is back very soon for its second year, and Sony has just published a new trailer giving us a sneak peek at what to expect from the digital expo. It's an in-game event built by Media Molecule with multiple halls filled with player-submitted booths, showing off their weird and wonderful Dreams creations.
As you can see in the video, you can customise your little avatar, and then explore dozens of interactive booths featuring, well, who knows what, exactly. You can even get a selfie with Megapenguin, which is obviously worth the visit on its own. DreamsCom gets started from 27th July.
Media Molecule will be live streaming on that date (5pm BST) to go through the details and show it all off. We're excited to explore DreamsCom — will you be joining us? Let us know in the comments section below.

This looks so good! Ridiculous, really.
Gotta love Dreams!
Seriously Sony need to have this as a pack in game with every playstation system now. It's not making them money. It's constantly on sales and still vast majority aren't giving it a chance. Pack it in with new consoles. With that price of entry and the novelty of playing anything new on new hardware, it seems an obvious move to grow this.
I really wish I had finished my game in time to submit it for this. Probably wouldn't have got in but would have been pretty cool. Maybe next year.
Just level 30 for the platinum for me now. More content to explore whilst I get there is always welcome.
