Samurai Warriors 5 is out near the end of the month in Japan, and the game's received a 'final trailer' to drum up some late hype. Complete with a catchy J-rock music track, this is probably the hack and slasher's best trailer. It's certainly got us itching to mow down hundreds of enemy troops with just a few flashy moves.
The West has to wait a bit longer Samurai Warriors 5, however. It's still due to release in North America and Europe on the 27th July.
Are you looking forward to Samurai Warriors 5? Side with Nobunaga or Mitsuhide in the comments section below.

Hype indeed.
I'm not sure who to side with. It depends on the other characters that side with either Oda or Mitsuhide to see which play style/weapon style I like more.
I'm excited for this game even with all the issues(cloned weapons, bad character choice). I just hope they don't mess up the older Nobunaga and Mitsuhide and they setup the next game, which I'm assuming is going to be from Hideyoshi to Sekigahara. Which should be amazing.
The EXILE song doesn't really make the Incident at Honnoji seem to serious lol. It's a catchy song and all but it doesn't fit that well.
It was nice to see each character get a little moment in this trailer and for them to showoff how the weapon switching works. Cloned weapons just kind of sucks to be honest.
I'm excited to try it on PS5. Bet the new art style is clean at 4K 60 FPS.
Curious to see the pre-Okehazama content. It's weird seeing Ieyasu Tokugawa as an anime protagonist smol boi with a bowl cut after playing so many games where he's just a portly middle aged man. Also really looking forward to seeing Kenshin Uesugi and how that content plays out. Getting to watch him declare himself the God of War? Pretty cool stuff.
