The gaming event calendar on our home page sure is getting a lot longer today! Now we have confirmation that IGN will be returning this year with its own digital showcase featuring "new game reveals, never-before-seen gameplay, and announcements you won’t hear anywhere else". What we can say is you'll be treated to that news right after the fact here on Push Square. As long as it pertains to a PlayStation game, of course.
The event takes place on Friday 11th June 2021 at 9pm BST / 1pm PST / 4pm EST, and is said to be an accompaniment to Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest, which takes place the day before. The IGN Expo will expand on the reveals made prior alongside new announcements. Are you managing to keep up with all these digital presentations so far? hahahah and people used to say that the old e3 weeks where hectic and overwhelming
well i guess you will have good month for this website's traffic!
How did we go from what the industry was describing as obsolete with e3 to now every one and there mother hosting some kind of games event . I loved e3 and was bummed to see it go the way it did but this idea of every one hosting there own gaming event feels like there is going to be a lot of news that gets lost in the shuffle. I'm sure there is some level of communication between every one but even that has the potential to get mixed up . I guess we'll see . Who knows though this could ultimately prove we need e3 in its old form if for nothing else but organization.
No thanks, haven’t visited IGN in years and more focused sites like PushSquare do more than enough to cover my interests.
Cant wait to check out the news on this site because I'll be too busy play Ratchet and Clank to watch the livestream.

If its anything like last year, it'll be utterly useless and a waste of time.
I love that there are many events forcing the media to focus on the news rather than make it some sort of competition in a ridiculously timed limit reality show counting the console war points.
