Horizon Forbidden West is, without question, one of the biggest games currently announced for the PlayStation 5. The fact that a new State of Play is promising approximately 15 minutes of gameplay footage, then, makes it essential viewing. This broadcast will be focused entirely on Guerrilla Games’ sequel, so don’t expect anything else outside of the open world RPG. The livestream will get underway from 2PM PDT/10PM BST.

Buildings are collapsing; Aloy is using basically every tool in her quiver. And the elephant is down...

Aloy is using a spear to bring down cannon fire on the elephant. Music is really good, by the way, kinda mix of tribal music and electro.

There's a giant elephant robot, and Aloy is riding right towards it.

It's the Golden Gate bridge! And Aloy has a glider!

Aloy has some special moves she can use in battle. Almost Street Fighter-esque specials.

Okay, it's combat time. Same bow-and-arrow style battles. Lots of mobility; Aloy is scrambling over the environment. Yes, there's a hookshot!

There are some velociraptor-style dinobots. Aloy is hiding in the foliage from them.

I finished Ratchet & Clank and TLOU2 both just before their 60 fps update came out. For Horizon Zero Dawn, I decided to wait so I really hope they announce it...

My only complaint about the original was that a lot of the dialogue was kinda stiff
