Can you believe that it's E3 season in just a few weeks? This time next month, various games publishers will be gearing up for some big announcements, be they alongside ESA's major event or not. One publisher that's been off doing its own thing for several years now is Electronic Arts — it hosts its own EA Play Live broadcasts independently, and that's not changing for 2021.
Indeed, EA has announced it'll be holding a livestreamed event on 22nd July.
Aside from a nice, looping logo, there's nothing to really go on here. This event should be where EA makes some noise, hopefully giving us the lowdown on upcoming games like Dragon Age 4, the next Need for Speed, and Battlefield 6. The latter is set to be revealed next month, so we can imagine it'll make a splash during EA Play Live as well.
Fingers crossed the show will be a good one. Again, there's no telling what will show up, but here's hoping EA can bring the goods. Are you looking forward to EA Play Live in July? Discuss in the comments section below.

Can't wait for them to announce FIFA 22, Madden 22, and some other loot box filled games, along with EA Originals that are good but are barely given any attention.
I think this pretty much confirms Battlefield 6 debut reveal will be at Xbox E3 then.
Has EA ever delivered a good show? The last few have been awful, showing dev diaries, cg trailers but little in the way of gameplay. Hopefully this bucks the trend!
Surprised how long after E3 it is. Means any show Sony does could literally be any time rather than in or around E3 week
@Grumblevolcano agreed
@Grumblevolcano Yeah, good shout — unless they have their very own, Battlefield specific event. To be honest, they could do all three.
Thanks for letting us know when we tune out. Do not support this terrible company, the place where developers are destroyed and games are put on hold indefinitely (Dead Space?).
Prepare... to be... Underwhelmed! Unless they come with details on fallen order 2 of course.
I'm actually slightly optimistic about EA for the future. They cut off support for Anthem so Bioware can focus on Dragon Age and Mass Effect and the remaster for the ME trilogy looks like effort was put into it. Respawn has been great across the board pretty much. EA Originals has put out solid to great games. And Dice has had quite a bit of time now to hopefully polish up Battlefield for a big comeback.
Not saying they are my favorite publisher or anything of course but at least they are making moves unlike Konami.

Dead space remake trilogy is what i want.word up son
I know it’s all in my mind, but I see a PlayStation symbols here
All I care about now as far as EA goes is Mass Effect. Apart from this I no longer have any interest in them but that said I do like to play the Battlefield Single Player Campaigns assuming the new game will have one ofc.
Will it have in-broadcast purchases?
Please give us another Mass Effect 4 teaser...I'd also love to see Dead Space Trilogy like @playstation1995 wants.
Oh, and if they are planning Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2, I want a teaser for that as well!
@KidBoruto.
Yep dead space is amazing .word up son
@playstation1995 Indeed! Also a remaster would allow me to play all of the story DLCs finally.
