Can you believe that it's E3 season in just a few weeks? This time next month, various games publishers will be gearing up for some big announcements, be they alongside ESA's major event or not. One publisher that's been off doing its own thing for several years now is Electronic Arts — it hosts its own EA Play Live broadcasts independently, and that's not changing for 2021.

Indeed, EA has announced it'll be holding a livestreamed event on 22nd July.

Aside from a nice, looping logo, there's nothing to really go on here. This event should be where EA makes some noise, hopefully giving us the lowdown on upcoming games like Dragon Age 4, the next Need for Speed, and Battlefield 6. The latter is set to be revealed next month, so we can imagine it'll make a splash during EA Play Live as well.

Fingers crossed the show will be a good one. Again, there's no telling what will show up, but here's hoping EA can bring the goods. Are you looking forward to EA Play Live in July? Discuss in the comments section below.
