Former Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain II swagged out the NFL Draft last night with custom PlayStation 2 bling, before being selected by the Denver Broncos with the ninth overall pick. The Rose Bowl defensive MVP – and son of a former Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs player – commissioned a custom DualShock 2 pendant, which illuminates when you push the buttons.

The star also had the PS2 pad sewn into his loafers, just to hammer home the point. Surtain II – who’s just 21-years-old, and was born about six months before Sony’s second console first released in North America – is playing up to his ‘PS2’ nickname, as the initials obviously match his name. We’re sure Sony will be in touch with him imminently…

If my initials were PS2 then I’d ride with it too. Pretty cool not gonna lie.
Big Crimson Tide fan, so I can get down with this.
As a Dolphins fan, with both a PS2 and Patrick Surtain replica shirt, I approve
N.i.c.e word up son
Waiting for the "He killed the Dreamcast" memes whenever he makes an interception.🤣
That is pretty cool. Roll Tide!
