As previously promised, ice hockey sim NHL 21 will pucker up to EA Play starting 12th April, meaning subscribers will be able to download the full game as part of their membership. The title had been available as a free 10 hour trial on the service, but now you’ll be able to play for as long as you like – assuming your subscription doesn’t lapse.
And then later in May, the service will swap ice rinks for football pitches, when FIFA 21 will win as one as part of EA Play. This means that all of EA Sports’ flagship sports titles will be available as part of the service by the summer, and you’ll also be eligible for boosters throughout the rest of the season, like Gold Team Fantasy Packs in Madden NFL 21.

I now forget that EA Play is it's own thing since it came to Game Pass. I saw this article and was like "why is Push Square reporting about Game Pass?"
I don't really play sports games anymore, but it is nice to try these games out now and not have to worry about paying full price for something I probably won't stick with. Who knows, maybe one will actually stick with me one day.
EDIT: Speaking of sports games and Game Pass, can we expect an article about MLB The Show '21 dropping on Game Pass on Launch Day? I would love to know the Push Square perspective on this.
Will buy a months subscription to play this, then let it lapse as will have had my fill after a month... zero interest in FIFA
EDIT: Just found out there is no PS5 version, so maybe won’t bother 🤭
