Train Sim World 2 is a service game in every sense of the word: it’s regularly updated with new routes, trains, and timetables. The game has grown so much over the past few months, however, that it now has three full Trophy sets attached to it – an unprecedented number for a non-compilation game, like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
So far the game has an eye-watering 253 Trophies to unlock. There is a core list with a Platinum Trophy, but everything else relates to various DLC packs. Because there are restrictions on how many Trophies a single set can have, developer Dovetail Games keeps adding entirely new sets on top. This third set will allow it to bloat its overall total to above 300 Trophies over the course of the coming year.
This isn’t uncommon, of course: Hitman 2 also utilised multiple sets to accommodate its wealth of DLC. As games continue to grow, we reckon Sony might need to come up with a more elegant solution to this. For now, the new Trophies in Train Sim World 2, of which there are ten to unlock, pertain to the Southeastern High Speed route, which is due out this week.

I feel like Sony's going to stop this at some point, but all of this is paid DLC so I'm glad the developers invest the effort to make Trophies for each add-on pack.
On Steam the original Train Simulator has over 1200 achievements, they get added each time DLC is released
Is that a ScotRail train I spot there in the photo?
@get2sammyb Astro's Playroom itself has two trophy sets, and it doesn't even have paid DLC, and it came pre-loaded on the hardware from PS Studios. I can't seem them ending the idea of trophy sets if they're doing it themselves. Though I can see a new trophy interface to manage it better. Or at least I dream of one.
What's the betting this'll be delayed !
Ahh is it just the high speed route? I was hoping I'd see my local train station immortalised in a video game!
