The build-up to Super Bowl LV has been interesting to observe. The Kansas City Chiefs, with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and offensive weapons like Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill, are the favourites – but you just can’t rule out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady, with six rings, knows how to get the job done, and after winning all three of their playoff games on the road, they’ll be playing at home for the championship.

It’s perhaps not surprising, then, that Madden NFL 21 is predicting a close albeit entertaining game. As part of its annual simulation, it reckons that the scoreline will be locked in the fourth quarter, but a Mahomes rushing touchdown will wrap up the victory. The game’s calling a 37-27 scoreline, so plenty of offensive thrills to look forward to, then. Where’s your money for this match? The Chiefs do, apparently, have some issues with their offensive line, and that Tampa defense does not mess around.

Huge upset? Or is Madden going to be prove correct?
