Arnold Schwarzenegger fans will have to wait another month to get their hands on Terminator: Resistance Enhanced as the PlayStation 5 remaster has been delayed by publisher Reef Entertainment to 30th April 2021. The reason for the push back has not been disclosed, so we'll have to assume it's for further polishing or to fix an issue encountered very late in the development process. Either way, the game's release is made to wait a couple more weeks.
When it does hit at the end of April, Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will include the new Infiltrator Mode that puts you in the robotic shoes of the famous T-800 unit as well as loads of visual upgrades. An upscaled 4K resolution is coupled with 60 frames-per-second and "higher resolution textures, higher polygon counts, tessellation, improved lighting and dynamic shadows, improved post-processing (antialiasing, bloom, and more), and more detailed particle effects." The PS5 DualSense controller also gets in on the action with adaptive trigger support and colour shifting within the pad's light bar. Finally, an all-new expansion will be released for the game this summer.

Is this like the arcade game from back in the day
I heard this honestly wasn’t that bad. Which is surprising given how these tie-ins usually go.
Apparently this isn't bad from what I heard, which is surprising considering they made that crappy Rambo game
@Arugula as a Terminator fan, I think "it's time" for me to pick this one up for once...
Was interested in playing this but didn’t know how I’d fit it in around March with Yazuka and Returnal coming our the same month. The delay will give me a little more breathing room to try and make some time for it.
Playstation plus game calling it now!
I plat-d this it was good and it ran of the disk with no bugs.
A solid fps shooter with some nice additions like upgrades for the guns.
The story tied into the original film as well and you can make the odd choice during the campaign.
This is the best terminator game and if your a terminator fan buy it.
Absolutely loved this game.
Will definitely go for the platinum again on PS5.
I was really surprised at how much fun this game was, essential for fans of T1 & T2.
Worth it for the sound effects alone, definite PS+ game one day.
@darksoul77 do you know if we can get another platinum from the PS5 version I can't see anything online about it being stackable. I would dive back in if so, I enjoyed it first time through.
Ya know I'd really like to give this a go soon but I've got a strong feeling this could be a ps+ game in the near future especially as its getting the ps5 upgrade.
Interested in playing this eventually, heard its decent and the Terminator movies have always landed themselves to easier video game adoptions then most film franchises
I got this game cheap off eBay last month but am waiting for this PS5 patch to land soon. Though, the time i finish Valhalla it might be April time lol
A decent, basic FPS with light RPG elements.
It's like Fallout 4, with about 75% of the RPG complexity removed, in the Terminator universe. I quite enjoyed it, actually the best bit of Terminator story since T2 Judgment Day.
It's short and easy, but they got the music, enemies and weaponry just right.
I won't lie- I absolutely loved this game. I will definitely buy it again for the PS5 as long as it has the trophies ^_^
@Sealightbreeze There's no need to buy the game again, they are offering a permanently free PS5 upgrade path.
@KidBoruto I rented the original from Gamefly, so I do not own the game. Will it have new trophies?
@Sealightbreeze I do not know the answer to that, sorry.
