Resident Evil Village will be scaring PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners silly from 7th May 2021, with Capcom's latest entry in the classic franchise getting its release date confirmed during the Resident Evil Showcase. After the developer stated it would be trying to get the game up and running on PS4 last year, it was indeed announced that the last-gen version will be a thing. Alongside the launch reveal was an extended gameplay walkthrough, which showed off a bit of combat, exploration, and inventory management. You can check that out above.

Elsewhere, it was announced that a Resident Evil Village demo will be available for PS5 owners, with another coming later this year for everyone else. Then there's the free multiplayer mode Resident Evil Re:Verse packaged alongside Village to celebrate the 25th anniversary. The Division 2 even joins the party with some exclusive outfits.
