New PS Store Sale Includes Loads of Super Cheap PS4 Games

Bought Yakuza Kiwami 2; 3,4,5 collection; and might get 0 just for the convenience of having it digitally at that price. What a series!!

So basically a Yakuza sale!

I will always stick up for Thief, especially at the ridiculously cheap price it is always on sale at. Despite any shortcomings, I find the experience extremely atmospheric and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for the pittance it is offered at.

Thief was the first game I bought for PS4 (got Shadowfall with the console) and i found it awful. A complete waste of life. So as a public service I feel I should provide a contrary opinion. Yes, it’s cheap, but the opportunity cost of playing it compared to a good game is large.
Opinions and all that, lol.

I don't know if Yakuza Zero is in this sale, just picked it up tho and have Kiwami via Plus.

Gonna give this series a go from zero to 6 throughout 2021*

Fair enough. I first played it on release on PS3, absolutely hated it, but completed it and sold it three days later. It was when I revisited later on PS4 that I gained more enjoyment from the experience and it became one of those guilty pleasures.

Maybe it will be better on ps5, I remember the loading times between areas were awful.

Mildly curious about Forgotten Anne at that price. I’ve got plenty in my backlog so I probably won’t, but it looks charming.

@Th3solution I enjoyed Forgotten Anne while it lasted,lovely anime style to it. Though I would regard it less as an arcade platformer in the style of Flashback,or Abe's Oddysee,& more like a talkie adventure ala Tales of the Borderlands,Walking Dead etc..,with platform bits in it.🤔👍
From what I've seen of my trophies I think there's 3-4 possible endings,though only ever managed two myself...have to revisit it one of these days! Hope it helps!
As far as this sale goes,not a heck of a lot there with some repeats of recent months. Meantime still no Cursed Castilla,Supee Hydorah,Shantae Half Genie Hero,Shantae Pirates Curse (last sales all mid 2018 or worse). River City Girls, Battle Princess Madelyn, Castle Crashers Remastered all Oct/Nov. 2019 titles & have yet to have a single psn sale...but have enjoyed multiple discounts on Eshop,Steam,XB etc.,along with Cursed Castilla etc...😔
Meantime something like Raging Justice has had multiple sales in the last 6-8 months!
Frustrating as it is disappointing-Sony need to mix the sales content up,& from what some indies seem to suggest actually email promotions out rather than curate them to a strict invite only of a select few.

I'll wait to see if any of these games hit PS Plus in February before buying

As I got the platinum in Infamous Second Son last week, I was happy to see First Light on sale so I bought that.

I'm still looking for my wishlist on the website. I guess it's fitting for Sony to have acquired Crunchyroll since they managed to develop the worst streaming service of all time.

@Scottwood101 from psprices.com info, it hasn't been on sale since June last year, but before that it was reduced every few months, and by around 80% most of those times too.

It's 2 gens back now but I wish they would do a PS3 store sale as well from time to time, 2nd hand shops are shut at the moment and I still have games on that system I would love to still play when I'm bored of PS4 and PC. It was a great system they still should do sales for it

Time to finally buy and play Death Stranding for $20! I've been so curious about this game for along time.
