Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5

Decent free-to-play Gundam title Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is making the jump to PS5 later this week, publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed. The game launched on PS4 back in October 2019, and it's received a number of sizable updates since.

This current-gen version promises faster load times, a better frame-rate, and a bunch of immersion-heightening DualSense features. Adaptive triggers give weapons a unique tension, the controller's speaker will output certain sounds, and haptic feedback lets you feel the impact of incoming projectiles. Sounds cool.

What's more, any PS4 progress that you have will carry over to the PS5 version of the game if you're using the same PlayStation account. PS5 players will also be able to match up with PS4 players thanks to cross-play functionality. Battle Operation 2 hits Sony's current-gen console on the 28th January.
