The Hitman 3 Opening Cinematic Is as Slick as Agent 47's Bald Head

There's nothing particularly exciting about this new Hitman 3 opening cinematic so that headline is the best this scribe could come up with, alright? Agent 47 does have a pretty majestic bald head, however. Pretty iconic, in fact. But yes, developer IO Interactive is indeed back with another piece of marketing for the finale to its Hitman trilogy before work on Project 007 really gets underway, detailing the story up until now and showcasing a few glimpses of the Dubai location. We have to assume that'll be the first level of the campaign, given its prominence in the opening.

@LiamCroft has there been any word on whether people will be able to carry progress from Steam to PS5?

In the transition from 1 to 2 you carried over DLC but only if you stayed on the same platform, and unlocks were not carried over anyway. This time I know they're calling over both unlocks and DLC if you stay on the same platform, and I know they're considering both PS4 and PS5 to be the same platform for these purposes.

I'm guessing at the start of a console generation there will be more people then usual jumping between Valve, Sony and Microsoft.

I don't mind having to buy all the DLC again because it's through a different store etc etc, but I don't really want to play season one yet again to get all the unlockables, especially Colorado which I hate. If that's not possible I probably won't buy the legacy pack DLC, because I won't end up playing it enough to justify the cost.

Maybe if you buy Hitman 3, because you can play all of 1&2, you'll get the dlc included.

Less improvement same ol same ol stiff movement and a i and cartoony graphics...,, i hope 007 gets the proper treatment unlike hitman franchise did

Looking forward to this last installment. Though, I hope they added some cutscenes in this time as HITMAN 2 felt empty without 'em.

@Macver1ck... Yep..... I think the Hitman franchise got stagnated from its potential by IO pendering to the Blood Money fanboys and the vision and creativity of the game has thus suffered, after blood money the game should have took off from silent assassin and of course adding a bit of the good stuff from blood money and then took risks with the franchise.

I hope IO will let their creative muscles flex with the James Bond project.......

PS: It's a shame they never carried over the point shot/blink shot machanic from Absolution..... That is one mechanic that makes one feel like a Hitman
