One announcement you may not have caught from The Game Awards 2020 last night was Shady Part of Me, which was revealed and then launched on the PlayStation Store all in one go. This debut title from French team Douze Dixièmes is both a 2D and 3D puzzler all about a girl and her shadow learning to overcome all manner of obstacles. It costs £11.99/$14.99, but you can purchase it now at a 10% discount on the PS Store.

Better yet, the game has released to some pretty positive reviews. Currently sitting on a Metacritic rating of 82, outlets praise its gameplay and lovely art style. Screenrant said: "If Shady Part of Me’s narrative was a little less vague, the story would probably have greater stakes than are evident. None of that compromises the high standards of design and the entertaining challenge of the game itself, though, and the visual diversity of each act ensures that the black-and-white aesthetic never seems the least bit drab. Shady Part of Me is a worthy atmospheric winter puzzler, and we’re definitely looking forward to the next game to release from this studio."
