It won’t come as a huge surprise to anyone familiar with Ubisoft’s business model, but Immortals Fenyx Rising has already been dramatically reduced on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in the UK – just two weeks after release. You can grab a boxed copy of the sandbox title for £33.99 on Sony’s next-gen console and £29.99 for its last-gen one. Considering this title includes a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade, we’d recommend you save the cash and stump up for the PS4 one.

Stock is somewhat limited, so depending on which version you plump up for, your copy may not be delivered until after Christmas. The Gold Edition can also be grabbed for £59.99, so if you want the Season Pass as well, this represents a decent saving. It’s crazy that the price has plunged so much in such a short period, but this is par for the course with Ubisoft we suppose – never buy day one.

I just finished the main campaign for this game and had a great time with it. It's a really fun game.
Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition was also quick enough to drop down from £70 to £50. Assassin's Creed is currently dropping right now and as a consumer that owns both AC & Immortals and hasn't touched them due to cyberpunk, I regret not waiting
I got the Gold edition earlier. It's cheaper than the normal one's discount plus season pass. Next day delivery too which is nice. I could do with a more cartoony and light-hearted game to go alongside Cyberpunk 2077.
Would be nice if those of us with the PS5 Gold Edition could actually get our included rewards at some point. The code only gives the Season Pass but all the other items don't appear for anyone on PS5. Seems to affect a lot of players.
@JapaneseSonic The PS5 one's only £4 more, so even more worth it. It also future proofs it so if in the distant future, PSN doesn't exist or doesn't offer the upgrades anymore, you can still play the PS5 one.
FYI: I also saw this for $40 at Best Buy and Amazon in the US yesterday. I am strongly considering an early Christmas present for myself!
Yeah A.C. Valhalla physical down to £38. Huge game for you cash
Getting this after I finish Valhalla and Bugsnax
Just bought it from Amazon for PS5. £33.99
Available in Tesco for £30 for the boxed PS5 version.
Just seen it today
Waiting for the inevitable price drop, on the valhalla steelbook edition, with all dlc included, for the low low price of $60.
I have been having a lot of fun with it on PS5 so far, but it is really hard to justify continuing to buy Ubisoft games at launch. This, Watch Dogs Legion, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla have already seen decent sales.
Was considering getting this since CP2077 is such a let down at the moment!
Makes me wonder if sales of the baseline game isn’t where Ubisoft sees their profits, but rather the season passes and DLC that come later. Income from the shell price is just a nice bonus.
You Brits get the Covid vaccine and Fénix sales drop first. Bah!
It's a mistake to release all watchdog 3, assassin creed valhalla, and fenyx rising on holidays, just release 1 game first like ac valhalla, then fenyx rising on feb or march and lastly watchdog 3 on april or beyond because it's a bit buggy compared to ac & fenyx.
On the bright side, I expect fenyx rising will be way cheaper when I buy it on ps5 next year 😃
@get2sammyb I really think this article should have mentioned that the season pass is $40, so instead of buying the complete game for $100 you can now buy it for $80 w/ the game on sale for $40.
Not that everybody will buy the season pass, but I've noticed over the past few years that a game w/ a costly season pass - yes I think 2/3 the price of the base game is costly for DLC - drops in price faster, as they hope people buy the season pass so they make more money that way.
Ubisoft might as well market this - buy the season pass, get the game for half price.
"But game prices need to be increasedddddd"
Get it people its a fantastic game.
Was tempted to get at launch but glad I waited a little and just ordered the limited edition (whatever that holds) for £33.
Was a toughy deciding between the handheld convenience of Switch or smoother gameplay and graphics for the PS5, but went for the latter.
I legit just bought this over the weekend
This is what would have happened if zelda:botw didn't have zelda on its name and link looked different.
Just checked and it dropped to similar prices here in Poland so I guess I'll just get it now
I'm willing to bet this will be £20 by the end of January.
I'm really enjoying it more so than cyberpunk , not saying cyberpunk is a bad game, this just seems to be more fun and does most thinks better , world building , combat etc
I bought this off PSN last week 😢
Worth the full price to me. It seems that after finishing Miles Morales this is my main game, when I start playing I am like "just one more vault" and lose track of time. Awesome game, it made me put Ac Valhalla, Demons Souls and Cyberpunk on hold.
Paid nearly full price and still sitting in the wrapping, more fool me eh?
Why they even bother with full price at this point is beyond me lol
Was thinking of buying Fenyx, and after that price drop I definetely am!
This is such a great game. If you have been on the fence there is no reason now not to take the plunge.
Watch Dogs: Legion was on sale quite quickly too. I think I paid £40 digital, just wanted to see how well they rendered London!
Which is the better pick up between this and watch dogs legion (which has also dropped to the same price)?
Never worth getting a Ubisoft Games at release.
Burned $15 for 1 month of PC Ubi Connect to try Fenyx (only had played the Stadia demo) and Legion
£29.99 for either is still to much. Stop at 4hrs in Fenyx, uninstalled (map system is awful)
London in Legion was cool to see. About it (never played any, so not sure if that opening was "dramatic event" for the series)
Just bought it on Monday from Amazon in Canada, $79.99 on for $44.95. Got it for Switch though.
Just bought the gold edition for €63.
Are they trying to grab a Guinness world record for fastest price drop? This is comparable to Anthem and Fallout 76.
@WallyWest which system?
Feels like a switch game to me.
@Giggler Well if you have the next gen systems then that's a no no-brainer. I chose PS4 myself as i found it looked a lot better then the Switch version, i will say though like BotW its a game what would work really in handheld mode even with the visual downgrade doing so.
@WallyWest
I only have a ps4.
I still don't know what to do.
I have too many ps4 games to play. This will get shot to the back of my backlog on that system.
I would get to it faster on switch.
