Here's something we weren't expecting to write about today. Terminator: Resistance, a not-terrible-but-also-not-very-good first person shooter, is heading to PlayStation 5.
In a series of tweets, publisher Reef Entertainment announces Terminator: Resistance Enhanced, a souped-up version of the game for Sony's new console:
Improvements include balance patches and updates, a new Infiltrator mode, 4K resolution and 60 frames-per-second performance, faster loading, and use of DualSense's special features. Sounds like a fairly decent upgrade ā and those who own the game on PS4 can claim the PS5 version for free.
In our review, we praised a "surprisingly interesting plot" and efforts to flesh out characters, but lamented poor performance and lacklustre graphics. Perhaps this PS5 update will be just what the doctor ordered. It's scheduled for release on 26th March 2021. Are you interested in Terminator: Resistance Enhanced on PS5? Despite its flaws, it's probably one of the better licensed games out there, and I'm glad it'll be receiving improvements over next gen.
Nice, I'd happily play through this again plus the "Play as a Terminator" mode sounds interesting!

This game was bethesda era fallout but actually good and playable. Also a delight for fans of terminator 1 and 2.
I really liked this game! Definitely going to give it another playthrough once the PS5 upgrade lands.
I always wanted to play it so this is a good excuse to finally give it a go.

Just bought this on Amazon for 18 quid.
No brainer really.
I enjoyed this game, a fun old school shooter aimed at fames of the first two movies.
I really enjoyed this game. Paid full price for it and wasnāt disappointed one bit. Iāll definitely buy/play it again on PS5 if it has a separate trophy list.
I own this digitally, so if I do get a PS5 this is good news. Bought on sale and I really liked the game as a fan of the first films, even doing all the side missions. The ending scene was particularly great.
Iād possibly pick this up. Looks alright to me. Hopefully the PS5 version fixes the flaws

I was semi interested in this but never got around to it, so a ps5 version sounds great! Too bad itās coming out so close to Returnal though. If itās cheap enough I might go ahead and pick it up. Iām always interested in unique shooters.
