Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 PlayStation 5

Open world games have historically been a little on the buggy side, and Insomniac's Spider-Man series is no stranger to this. There have been all sorts of amusing clips showing all manner of Spidey glitches and bugs. However, a new one found in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is doing the rounds, and it's brilliant. The superhero can not only swing from webs, turn invisible, and use bio-electricity; turns out he can transform into inanimate objects, too.

We first heard about this from artist Rob Sheridan, who found Miles had turned into a brick after colliding with a wall:

As you can see from the clip, he's able to play perfectly fine, save for the fact that the wall crawler has been swapped out for a brick. The tweet has obviously drawn a lot of attention, but this isn't the only case of the error documented online.

Surf Reddit and you're sure to find lots of other examples. We've found plenty — check out the links to see Spider-Man turned into a box, a dumpster, a stool, a splash of milk, and one report that tells of a refrigerator, beer bottle, and ketchup bottle. In all cases, it's just a bizarre model swap, and gameplay seems to be uninhibited.

We're sure Insomniac will get on top of this pretty glaring bug soon, but for now, it's hilarious. Have you encountered anything like this in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales? Glitch out in the comments section below.
