NBA 2K21 PS4 PlayStation 4

The PlayStation Store charts for September have arrived, and sports games lead the charge. In North America, it's NBA 2K21 that takes the top spot, while FIFA 20 claims the win in Europe.

As you might expect, Marvel's Avengers does okay for itself, coming in second on the US chart and fifth on the EU equivalent. Fall Guys is also still floating near the top, falling into fifth in North America and second in Europe. Meanwhile, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 debuts in third and fourth.

Over on the PlayStation VR chart, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is doing well; it's first and second in NA and EU respectively, loosening the iron grip Beat Saber has had pretty much every month. When it comes to free-to-play titles, it's no real surprise to see Rocket League topping both regional charts, with Spellbreak and Genshin Impact making up second and third.
