The combat in Marvel's Spider-Man starts simply, but as you progress and unlock more gadgets, it becomes surprisingly complex. The end result is satisfying, forcing you to combine various powers with dodges, takedowns, and aerial attacks. For Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Insomniac Games is augmenting this already fun system with Miles' unique abilities, making it even more varied.
In the above video, game director Cameron Christian talks about the difference the new hero's powers make to combat. If the first game was mostly about attacking single targets, Miles Morales folds in more area-of-effect abilities, letting you tackle groups more effectively. You can see this in action in the clip, where Miles uses his electrical powers to affect several baddies at once.
Additionally, new suit mods can enhance stealth as well as offence. One shown is a mod that tells you if enemies will notice your stealth takedowns, indicated by lines connecting the characters. It sounds as though there's going to be even more to toy with during combat as you unlock Miles' upgrades and gadgets. We can't wait to get our hands on the game and try it out ourselves.

Loving the particle effects and smoothness. The ability to mix lots of mods is interesting, but I’m betting I’ll always stick to the same few ones that suit my play style (unless there are certain tasks or trophies that reward experimentation)
Awesome...can not wait to play the game. I am so hyped about PS5 and games that follows.
I never the played the original Spiderman on PS4. Is it difficult to put these moves together? The action seems very fast paced. Almost like a pre-animated cut-scene.
@Arugula True but all stars had some issues even in UI reveal( feet sinking in path) so maybe that's why it's not getting any coverage
@joehod Easy to learn and easy to master but alot of fun.
@L3GTRIGA cool, thanks.
