Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is named after the novice superhero for a reason. This new game focuses on Miles as he learns the ropes of being a web-slinger, putting players in control of a less experienced Spidey. What he lacks in finesse, he seems to make up for with extra superpowers, however.
In this brand new clip, courtesy of Game Informer, a new scene is revealed in which Miles discovers one of these new abilities. We've all seen some gameplay by now, so it's no surprise that he has some electrical powers. Still, if you don't want to see him figuring this out, maybe steer clear of the above video.
We won't spoil anything here, but the game's director Brian Horton talks about this being an important point in Miles' development as a character and a hero. We're certainly excited to see where the story goes when the game launches on PS5 and PS4 next month.

I can’t wait to play this game man this month need hurry up and end. I’m dying for hype and excitement waiting for the ps5.
Sweet...I am waiting this game so much, alongside PS5. It needs just patience and wait the time to fly faster
Can't wait to play it, still waiting for ps5 pre-order to start on my country
Man, I still don’t know if to buy the PS4 digital version and update to the PS5 version. I don’t even know if to buy disc or digital. I only know that the PS4 version will be available a week before the PS5 one.
I don’t want to spoil the PS5 experience by playing the PS4 beforehand...but I can’t wait to play it. I’m already avoiding new images and videos. Including the one in this page
Aw, 1st world problems....
@madcow78 it sucks you folks in Europe have to wait a week longer to get a ps5.
Rrr that Rhino does my head in. I do like that they’ve included Miles’ electric venom though, it would have been easy just to make him a re-skin of Peter Parker.
@nessisonett They also included his invisibility/phasing and most of his "venom attacks" (no relation to the Venom character).
Truly hyped for this game, I have the PS5 version pre-ordered on Amazon along with Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (PS4).
@KidBoruto Yeah, they’re a big part of his comics moveset so I’m glad they seem to have put a bit of effort in.
