Here’s your first look at a brand-new suit for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, showing the titular hero with compression tights, shorts, a hoodie, Puffa jacket, and Air Jordans. While it’s not quite the same, it is similar to the character’s outfit in the popular movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It’s featured on the cover of an upcoming art book, as announced earlier today by Marvel Games:
As mentioned in the above Tweet, it’s not the only Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales book launching in the near future. Brittney Morris has also penned a prequel novel named Wings of Fury, which is due out imminently. The story should prove a decent primer for the upcoming PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 game, which is set to release on 12th November alongside Sony’s next-gen console.

Is it confirmed as a suit, then? There's often a big disconnect between a game's artbook and the finished product.
Definitely not the same as the Spider-Verse suit. The eye lenses should be a lot larger and he should look more slender and angular akin to the design in that movie, similar to what they did with Peter B. Parker's suit in Spider-Man PS4
It's probably just a visual homage to that suit since it's easily one of the more popular incarnations of Miles as a character, in the same way the Classic Suit does for Peter Parker in the previous game
@RogerRoger Almost certainly will be a costume in the game, but obviously isn't official confirmation just yet.
It'd be a crime if that wasn't a suit. I love Miles's look when he wears casual clothes over his suit.
@get2sammyb Oh, for sure there'll be plenty of Spider-Verse suit representation; that's Marketing #101 but I'm wondering whether it'll be cel-shaded (like the Peter B. Parker suit in the PS4 game) or the more realistic interpretation we're seeing here.
Anyway, nerdy musings aside, I do love a good art book, so this'll wind up on my shelf someday, no doubt.

I never understood comic tie-in novels.
What kind of a-hole says "Let's take this medium where half (or more) of the appeal is the dynamic art and get rid of all of it, that's what the kids want"?
That's always just seemed like the equivalent of buying a record and all you get is a lyrics sheet and tabs.
I'll get the novel (and quite possibly the artbook). I enjoyed the prequel novel for the first game and the extra background on their versions of the characters. Plus it was a very cool touch how the the final events of the book were literally the opening of the game.
