Gamescom Opening Night Live is just a few days away, and hypemaster Geoff Keighley is slowly lifting the lid on some of the games that'll feature during the show. One is the unveiling of Fall Guys Season Two, but that's not all Geoff has said will be present in the livestream.
DOOM Eternal's first DLC, named The Ancient Gods: Part One, was announced earlier this month with the above teaser, but we'll get our first real look at it during Gamescom ONL.
It seems this will come in the form of a full blown trailer, rather than a 30-second bite. The Ancient Gods is a campaign expansion to the main game, so if you enjoyed Eternal's story, this DLC will offer you even more DOOM lore.
Gamescom Opening Night Live is happening this Thursday. For more info on Gamescom dates, times, and where to watch, click through the link for our guide.

I just want to see the Dark Lord.
I hope there's more shooting people in the face, and far, far, FAR less stupid platforming sections.
I wonder how many passes they are planning for this, calling the season pass a year one pass makes me think there will be more than one. Could be quite pricy!
It's unfortunate that Mick Gordon's work won't be on this, but I'm sure it'll be stellar.
@SirAngry The platforming is a big part of why I hate this game. Hopefully they listened to the near unanimous feedback on this and adjusted accordingly.
I still won't be buying it as it'd be just too little too late for me but it'll be good for those that stuck it out in spite of this very un-Doom like gameplay feature.
@zupertramp for me it's not just that it was un-doom-like, although yeah, I didn't buy a Doom game for a subpar Mirrors Edge clone, with far crappier controls, it's that it was so badly implemented. The level semiotics were also poor as hell. The constant having to stop and look at a map that didn't always help to see where you were supposed to go didn't help either. All in all I much preferred Doom 2016, however the flow in combat to get health, armour and ammo etc. by killing enemies in different ways was an interesting addition to the game. It wasn't all bad, indeed the jumping and acrobatics weren't so bad in the shoot outs, where it gave tactical options and a nice sense of kinetics. The problem was the bland, badly designed platform sections in-between all the killing that just frustrated me to hell, it just ruined the flow of the game for me.
