If you're looking for a stylish, 2D indie platformer to pass the time this weekend, why not check out the newly-released Naught on PlayStation 4? This unique take on jumping and dashing will have you twisting the environment around a tiny character trapped in dark underground tunnels, mazes, and lairs. It looks like a pretty neat concept and the best bit about it is that Naught launches today on PS4 for £15.99/$19.99.
40 different levels will push your platforming capabilities to their limit while "a captivating story with strong emotional baggage" is said to keep you coming back for more. It's based on metaphors rather than speech so you'll have to be concentrating if you want to pick up on every little detail.

That gameplay footage makes me motion sick just watching it. Too bad because it has a charming aesthetic otherwise. The screen turning in circles like that is just a bit too unsettling though.
For anyone interested: this is a mobile game from around 10 years ago. The devs don’t have anything about that on their website, but a quick Google search brings up reviews of the Android version from 2013. I don’t think that makes it a bad game, just something people might want to be aware of.
Edit: Metacritic has two reviews of the iOS f2p version of this game from 2011 citing Blue Shadow Games as the developer. They’re both positive reviews, for the record. Seems like someone else might’ve picked up the publishing rights and want to sell the full game for a fixed price, which I think a lot of mobile games should do. Might be worth giving the devs some money if the game seems up your alley.
Edit 2: More info over at PlayStation Blog. It looks like this version is a remake of the original, overhauling the graphics, sound, and controls. Which is pretty cool!
10 seconds of watching this and now I have a headache. Looks cool, but hard pass.
