PlayStation 5 may be right around the corner, but Sony’s still busy flogging the PlayStation 4 ahead of the holidays. The platform holder has released a brand new trailer showcasing some of the biggest titles on the format right now, and it goes big on third-party partnerships, with the likes of Fortnite, Marvel’s Avengers, and NBA 2K21 taking centre stage.
There’s just enough time for the manufacturer to shine a spotlight on Ghost of Tsushima in the clip’s 30-second running time. It’ll be interesting to see how the Japanese giant continues to promote the PS4 once its next-gen system arrives later this year; we still reckon there’s enormous potential in making the existing system a budget alternative to the PS5.

And i concur. Switch isnt a bad place either.
i hope Sony has something up their sleeves to counter the xbox event
@pimpjuice they have loads up their sleeves still. Not that they need it really.
Kinda counter productive though of sony considering fortnite states its pc gameplay. I honestly thought watching the trailer was just going to demonstrate sony games.
@pimpjuice why do they need to counter? Sony have already shown off their games and I'd imagine they'll have more anyway
Ps5: Hold this place until I arrive okay
@pimpjuice Is it the other way around? Ps5 event has spider-man miles morale, the sequels to 10M+ selling sony 1st party games, has horizon forward west, the sequels to 10M+ selling sony 1st party games, has ratchet & clank, the sequels to insomniacs best selling games before spider-man, a full sequel gran turismo games, and others new ip.
@pimpjuice. Why .ps5 still gonna outsold x box just like ps4 destroy x box.word up son
... Unless you're on the go. Or want the most powerful console. Don't have anything against PlayStation but this slogan isn't that true.
@acNewUpdates says a switch player with an account seemingly primarily setup to promote an animal crossing news twitter account 😂
Bet there’s no bias there.
So many games!
They should just do a sizzle real of a second or two from all the exclusives. It really is quite staggering the library they've built up.
It will be my place to play until I clear my backlog, which will probably be mid-2021. By that time the PS5 fever will have died down a bit so I can easily find and buy one (provided it's quieter and runs cooler than PS4 PRO).
I’d love a Socom game 🥺🥺
After watching the Xbox stream I can confirm that the ps4 is still the best place to play
I wonder why The Last of Us: Part II wasn't included, but yet Fortnite was?
