Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a brand new game heading to PlayStation 5. It comes from indie studio Ember Lab, and the visuals on display are beautiful. It's an action adventure title starring the titular Kena, a girl who can befriend and command a small species known as the Rot. Cute name.
Details are thin on the ground but it's looking very promising. Kena is a spirit guide, able to enhance the abilities of the Rot, and will engage in "fast paced combat" throughout the story.
We're certainly intrigued, but what about you? Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

I am, one of the more interesting for me personally. Scratches a different kind of itch, if that makes sense.
These are the kind of announcements that dont get enough credit. It's not the most exciting game they showed, but I'm definitely going to play it.
Looks good! Getting Pikmin vibes with those small creatures you move around.
Got me more excited than Spider-Man 2 to be honest.
I love what I've seen. I can imagine it being one of those games where just being in the world is a lot of fun.
@Wazeddie22 Same here. Still haven't bothered picking up the first one. I just get the feeling it's one of those "stare at the minimap and go to the nearest icon" kind of games.
This looked incredible coming from an Indie studio!
This one really stood out. The animations looks fantastic.
š Remind me of Ne Zha the movie a good thing for sure!
This was one of the few fresh standout games of the event for me.
Looks delightful. Sony set to out-Nintendo Nintendo this coming gen?
Quite possibly.

Really like how this game looks, very excited for it
Someone's been watching a lot of Ghibli films.
Seriously this really does look great!
I wonder how much of the trailer was real-time... the gameplay part is Ok, but the rest ? Would be nice to know, because it looks good.
This was the game for me out of all of them. Just magical.
It kinda reminded me of the UE5 tech demo. I'm definitely getting this!
@TheAdza @hi_drnick @ApostateMage @Ridwaano @tameshiyaku @Matroska @Wazeddie22 @Octane @Enuo @finalstan I definitely got some major anime/Studio Ghibli vibes.
Also excited and looking forward to learning more about the game/seeing extra gameplay.
Besides the more obvious & notable ones, this & Stray both caught my attention,Kena especially. Quite keen to see more of this!
@Matroska hmm yeah pretty much, how did you guess? To be honest I was slightly disappointed when I first played it,loved the swinging mechanics but was expecting more and even sold my special Edition after completing it.
This however is right up my street, looks beautiful!
This looks lovely. It kinda reminds me of Kameo on 360. It would be a good launch game but might be overshadowed by the bigger names.
Instantly thought about how there was a lack of these vibrant action platformers types on ps4, even ps3 to a degree. Ps2 was massively the time of those, then saw the Pikmin like mechanics. I'm curious tbh! I played through Pikmin 1 in it's entirety.
Iām really excited for this one. I love good fantasy adventure games like this. Iām hoping the story/lore are just as exciting as those visuals.
