We've all been dying to see the next Dragon Age -- commonly referred to as Dragon Age 4 -- in action for a long time now, but the wait is finally over. During EA Play 2020, we got to see ten whole seconds of brand new footage straight from BioWare. It begins 31 seconds into the video above.
There's a big tree. A stone arch. Some... Glowing tentacle things. Sick. We can't wait to see more.

Is that Red Lyrium?
LOL I guess I took the bait! Still, I'm glad it's being made.
I can't even pretend to be hyped about the next Dragon Age.
@Shepherd_Tallon - Most likely. The tentacle things look just like the lyrium veins you could find in Dragon Age Origins, only red.
Given Bioware's recent performance, I can't be that excited for a new Dragon Age, but it would certainly be nice if this game marks a positive turning point for the developer.
It looks like the Fade with the Black City in the background.
@Its_Carl_Y-all Totally agree, i played through origins multiple times, forced myself to finish 2 and Inquisition is still sat on my shelf, i'm just at the castle camp thing, i can't even remember what it is called.
I understand it gets better after that, and i will get back to it, it's just shifted to the bck of the backlog.
@Its_Carl_Y-all DA2 may have dropped the tactical combat and used the few same locations throughout the entire game but the writing, characters and stories told within are all still very good. I think Hawke is one of BioWare's best protagonists too.
DA was pulled through the gutter so not sure how excited to be for this other than it should look good being on next gen...
Can't wait but I'm also a little worried, I loved Mass Effect 2/3 and Dragon Age O/2/I but Andromeda and Anthem were just tumble after tumble for Bioware.
Please don't ***** this up Bioware, Dragon Age is one of my favourite Fantasy world's, don't ruin it now.
@ApostateMage I agree, Dragon Age has been a very solid series throughout, though I would say Origins is still the best, each one has still built upon the world and the lore and each has been well written with lots of interesting themes.
There are still so many questions that need answers so I'm hoping that Dragon Age 4 is a return to form for Bioware and I hope they knock this out of the park.
