Who knows when it'll arrive, but Gran Turismo 7 is coming to PlayStation 5 at some point in the future. And when it does, it looks like the real driving simulator will be making full use of the next-gen features Sony's new console has to offer. It'll support 3D audio, which we're sure will sound excellent through the use of the PS5's wireless headset, and haptic feedback.
The PlayStation Blog claims that the latter feature "brings to life what it’s like when the tires hit the road" and that 3D audio will allow you to sense the position of other racers on the track rather than having to look in your mirrors every couple of seconds. Of course, we'll have to see how this all plays out in our own homes, but it certainly makes for promising reading. How excited about Gran Turismo 7 are you? Take to the track in the comments below.

I don't usually buy first-run consoles, but man GT7 is making it hard for me to resist the temptation...
Very excited, but the main question I have is, can we play it on PSVR?
If so, will the entire game (visuals toned down) be playable like they originally said GT Sport would?
The single player stuff looks great, so I'm in day one 😃
After what they did with gt sport I will have to think hard about it.
Please someone tell me is my Logitech g29 going to work on the new ps5.
I am definitely in and can't wait to feel what it's like with the haptic feedback, it's a shame this wont be a launch title as it's one of the games I am most excited for, I agree with others though it will interesting to know how much of the game is playable in VR.
Is there damage this time?
The main selling point to this game seems to be that the career mode is back. (As it should be)
I love Gran Turismo, it was THE game that got me into racing games, but Forza Motorsport now really scratches that itch.
I don't need rewinds and everything that Forza has, but I think damage modelling on a PS5 isn't too much to ask for...
"the real driving simulator" and you play it with a controller?
@Acidpants
Yeah, I'd like to know if my Thrustmaster T150 will work as well.
I love the sound of the enhanced feedback, and it looks incredible - but GT has always been much too hardcore for me, much more of a Ridge Racer/Forza/Driveclub fan. Hopefully we'll get something like that too at some point.
@gollumb82 @Acidpants Same for my T300RS ! Let's hope guys
Yeah ummm.. I'm gonna need it to take full advantage of PSVR.
And my wheel set up.
Hi there fellow gamers. I´m actualy quite excited about Gran Turismo 7. It´s been ages since I played GT(the last one was 5), but after seing that trailer made me remenber the good old days of playing GT 3 and 4 and having a blast with it. And doing those 24 hours events with some friends, each taking a turn for an hour or so. Good times. Cheers and happy gaming to us all
@Turismo4GT GT7 may not even come out for years..
@mclarenrob2 That's fine by me if it doesn't. I intend to let my PS4 last me for at least a year or 2 into the PS5 life cycle before I make the jump anyhow.
